Very nice, good quality, nice thick sole for walking. These would have been perfect dress flats, but the sizing seems to be way off. I am normally a size 7.5, and because I needed something very quickly for travel, I ordered both a 7 and a 7.5. Even the 7 was too large! Returning and will order a 6.5, but only if they can deliver them quickly.

I’ve been looking for a snazzy pair of shoes to wear with jeans so I ordered these & another pair with cheetah print only on the vamp. These are amazing & so well made, hence the much higher price. But happily they were on sale! The quality of this shoe is evident from the cheetah print to the cute hardware & sole & arch supports. Very comfy with just enough heighth in heel NOT to be wearing FLATS, which kill my feet & back! I love them! They’re keepers!

I wanted to like these so much, but oh, what a disappointment. The taupe just lacked that elegance and class that taupe should have. These were a very purple taupe, not on the gray side. Awful color, so I returned.

Fit is wonderful and I have high arches making this type of shoe generally a challenge. True to size, cute and comfy!

My normal measured size is 7-1/2 M (measured in shoe store and by physical therapist who made my orthotics). I tried this shoe in both a 7 and 7-1/2 M and both were way to big. The 6-1/2 M, while not a 100% perfect fit for me, fits well enough to keep. As is (without orthotic), when I walk, it has a slight gap on both sides, but it wasn’t big enough to reject the shoe. The left shoe fits better than the right. There is an ever so slight slippage in the right heel. We’ll see how it expands over time as it gets broken in. Meanwhile, I’ve found the perfect solution for fit. I do like the removable footbed. Although my current orthotic does not fit in the shoe, my old orthotic does. However, I can only wear it on the right foot, and this corrects the gap and the slippage in the heel. Unfortunately, the orthotic in the left foot (the foot that needs the orthotic correction) makes the shoe unbearable tight, but the shoe fits me fine with the Trotters original footbed and I am thankful for the moderate arch support. The shoe is not comfortable enough for long walks, but it is perfect for going out to dinner — a short walk from the car or hotel to the restaurant. The silver metal bit detail makes the shoe dressy enough to wear to dinner and the rubber sole & small arch support make it comfortable enough to walk short distances. I love the soft feel of the leather. I just wish I could wear my orthotic in the left foot too.

I wear a narrow in most shoes and was happy to see that this shoe came in narrow. However, this shoe ran long and wide. A smaller size was just right in width but short in length. I am disappointed. This shoe a great price, well made, and stylish.
