Two stars because the shoes SQUEAK. These $100+ pretty, classic leather flats squeak. Not one shoe, but both shoes. Talcum powder in the heels…then in the toes…muffled the noise, so I wore them to run errands/lunch/dr appts, By the time I got home, most of the powder was in various spots on my pants’ legs and the squeak(s) were back with a vengeance. I am so very disappointed because I really wanted to love them. I really needed to love them, because finding shoes to fit my essentially triangular feet is proving to be difficult and I’m too hip to through in the towel and surrender to a life in SAS. Maybe someday, but not yet. Back they go.

beautiful, quality made shoe that is a classic. If you are narrower through the heel you will need to go with a narrow width in this shoe. I have never been a narrow width in any other shoe but in this shoe I am narrow. I have a regular, medium width through the foot but my heel is narrow in the back. The 8N fits perfectly. The 8M was too roomy through the foot and also in the back of the heel.

This flat is exactly what I was looking for. I love pointy toes shoes but often find they are too tight in my normal size 7. These fit perfect in a 7 wide. The toe area of the insole is sueded which I find increases the comfort. The color is as described. There is light padding but otherwise no arch support typical of this type of flat. I wore them comfortably out of the box for a limited time and they were fine but may not be supportive enough for all day walking.

The name belies the reality. Slipped one on and right away knew I could never win a battle with these shoes. The leather is stiff and mean and looking to make blisters on the backs of my heels and dig into my big toe knuckle. They are cute, but they also have to be comfortable.

I am a 10 N and hard to find an “instyle” pointed flat. These fit perfectly and did not hurt the first time. Super Comfortable

Considering how much I paid for these shoes, I expected much better quality. I ordered my usual 7N, but it ran a bit long in the heel, so I exchanged them for a 6.5N. It felt a bit snug, but I loved the look of the flat and crossed my fingers that they would stretch a bit over time. After only two weeks of wear, however, the thin leather covering at the toe of one shoe split (!), revealing a felt-covered cardboard material underneath. If this were a less expensive pair of shoes, perhaps I’d be more forgiving. But for the price, these aren’t well made.

Very poor quality for the high price. I nearly slipped multiple times the day I wore them. Both shoes squeak, they flex in the middle and there isn’t much cushion. Very disappointed.

This shoe made me question buying Trotters ever again. I have worn a size 11N for years. I could order that size and be guaranteed a good fit. This style was too long and too wide for my super narrow foot. The quality of the leather was so-so.

I wear a size 7 and my feet are moderately wide; they are by no means very wide feet. I could barely fit my feet into this shoe. It did not fit in length nor did it fit in width. It was tiny. Also, for the price, the material looked and felt cheap. The shoe and color look cute but for this price, I was expecting way better quality. I got some pointy flats from Naturalizer for a similar price and they are long lasting, high quality, and comfortable. I do not recommend this brand. Immediately returning these.

This is the *perfect* basic black flat shoe. Was super comfortable but is also the perfect design- toe is slightly pointy so it doesn’t look dumpy but not crazy pointy, the cut-out on top is perpendicular to the foot and is open but not too much toe-cleavage. If you want a basic black flat, it doesn’t get any better than this one!!!

this shoes are wore by some one before. it came in a plastic bag, not in original box, had hair inside one shoes and has small color faded spot in the front.its feet me good I need a pair in original box.

This shoe is so beautiful and well made. I ordered my normal size and have to return them. I have fairly wide feet and the width felt accurate. Will definitely be re-ordering in a bigger size!

Love them. They look so nice on and are fairly comfortable. My left big toe seems to always ache a little like there is not enough room at the top of the shoe. Maybe it is a little higher than the right toe???? Go figure. Never considered that and not sure how to get around that. Anyway, I like the shoes.
