The Halsey is such a pretty, summery sling back shoe. Unfortunately it was too wide in the heel and too long for my foot. I wear a narrow width and am a size 9. I would say the shoe runs at least a half size longer and is wider in the cut.
If you have a medium to wide fit this could be a pretty nice option.

Was looking for a low heel or flat leather shoe to wear with dresses. I can now longer were heals due to hip problems. I ordered Trotters Halsey and also Trotters Dea. Both the Halsey and the Dea have excellent construction. The Halsey was too snug in the width of the toe box. The Dea was true to size in length, and just right in the toe box length. I wore the Dea and ran errands, and no pain in foot or hip. The Halsey was a good shoe too, I’d recommend it to any one who doesn’t need more room in the toe box. Also to mention, the adjustable sling strap is very good for me, because I have narrow heels which makes keeping pumps on my feet difficult, The sling back Dea stayed on my feet with no problems.

Wonderful! I read several bad reviews, but am glad I took a chance. Toe bed is perfect, toes are completely covered, the heel strap is comfortable. I walked very fast, up and down flights of stairs and through long hallways the first day I wore these. I did not expect to do this, but I had no problem with my footwear. These shoes were more comfortable than most of my other shoes and my feet felt great all day, despite my unexpected treks.

These hurt. I keep trying different Trotter shoes, and every single one has hurt my feet. UGH. They are so pretty though!

This shoe runs very wide as compared to other Trotters. I have worn this brand for years but couldn’t wear these. They flopped around on my foot. Had to return. Also, Zappos sent my order to me in two boxes but only gave me one return code so ai had to pay $6.00 to the UPS store to return them in one box. Total fail – all around.
