I love these shoes and really wanted to keep them. They are quite elegant but also could be used with casual clothes. But, the fit at the heel is too wide and so the shoe slips when I walk.

I used to buy Trotters and still own quite a few pairs of their styles… Why would ANYONE put synthetic lining on a genuine leather shoe is beyond me. Pass due to that! If you are making a shoe or anything, make it right.

Shoe box said 9 1/2 N. Shoe is a 9 N. Will be returning.

I love the style and the fabric. Unfortunately, the 8.5 wide was too big because I am use to buying bigger sizes and they are out of 8 wide.

These are so cute. I was looking for shoes to wear to work with dresses and these would have been perfect. The size is actually great–they definitely felt true to size. The problem is that they hit my metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint–just what you don’t want if you are trying to avoid growing a bunion. Your mileage may vary. As much as I love the ballet style of shoes, they always rub me just in the wrong place, as these did. I returned them and I’m sure my older self will thank me down the road. However, if you love a good ballet shoe and want a lovely pair of flats that are dressy but not too dressy, then I totally recommend these shoes.

Very comfortable shoes.

Cute cute shoes, but too long and too wide. I was very disappointed, but they are going back.

They looked like I was wearing skis.

The shoes are beautiful. I really wanted them to fit! Across the front, the edge cuts across the “Bunion bone” of my foot. They would not be comfortable in the long term.

I bought the luggage color and it’s very handsome. The fit is good on my left foot (which is larger than the right foot) but a tongue pad on the right shoe should remedy the problem with my smaller foot. I wear 10AA, and these feel good. I’m very pleased, and have ordered the shoe in black today.

Great Shoe

Very nice shoe. Just too wide for my narrow feet. I walked right out of them.

I really wanted these to work but they are just too wide for my narrow feet.

Not enough toe room…needs to be wider in toe room.

When trying on the shoes, I noticed that the weave work stuck out on the sides like little pockets. Completely ruined the look in my opinion. Off my feet they are beautiful, on my feet they look strange because of the bulging weave work.

Too big in heel. Very nice looking shoe.

Nice looking shoe , but stiff and uncomfortable . not enough arch support for me. Heel slipped out..

I have a pair of Trotters that I have worn very comfortably for about 20 years. They were finally starting to break down. They were a size 8W. When I ordered two new pair, I assumed my feet had spread and wear mostly an 8-1/2 in most shoes so I ordered an 8-1/2 wide. I forgot the reason I usually get the larger size is because I needed it for my foot width. Since Trotters come in a wide size, I probably should have ordered the size 8W.

I ordered an 8-1/2W when I should have ordered an 8W. Most shoes that I buy have to come in a larger size to accommodate my foot width. Since Trotters are true to size and come in wide, I plan to reorder in the smaller size.

The Trotter Hand is a well made shoe and appears to fit as a 10N should. The style of the shoe puts pressure at the base of my great toe and gaps on the sides. I will return.

The Keds Champion-Canvas Slip-On in white canvas is probable my all time favorite shoe. The black canvas fits me much looser. I generally get a new pair of the white every spring. After a summer of wearing, it gets a little ratty but mostly the rubber sole becomes smooth, slick and a little dangerous on wet surfaces. It has no arch support, but I add a Pedag Holiday to all my shoes so this is not an issue. I wear a 10N and this shoe is flattering to my long narrow foot. My only complaint is that the toe cap inside of the shoe will often unglue. I generally pre-treat the stains, enclose the pair in separate mesh bags and wash them as they soil. I use a plastic shoe tree to dry them. The shoe does not irritate my right foot bunion and does not slip on my heel.

Beautiful & elegant. It could could use a little more toe space as it lies very snug on top of the toes. Wish there was WW.
