These shoes fit very well, and are so comfortable. I had to go up 1/2 size and the wide width, and they are perfect. The leather is so smooth and nice!

These are really odd shoes. That is, they look nice, but they fit very oddly. When I slipped my foot into the shoe, it felt like there was some packing material in there that I missed. So I took it off to inspect, but all that was in there was a Trotters padded insole. It came out very easily, and I wondered if it was put in there by mistake–because the shoe didn’t look like it needed it. But without it, my foot sat too low in the shoe, causing the heel to rub against my own–and I’ve had too much experience with rubbing heels to want to endure that. So I put the extra insole back in, but once again, it felt like much too much, especially in the front half of the foot. It may have worked out if it had tapered down towards the front of the shoe, but as it was, it was either too much padding or too little without it. Not sure how anyone would be able to get a good fit. I have a narrow foot and so ordered the narrow. Perhaps if I had ordered the medium, it would have fit with all that padding, but I’m not interested enough in trying again.

I wanted to love these shoes. The arch support was great and they seemed comfortable to walk in but whenever I would sit down, my feet would go numb as these shoes were just too tight across the midfoot. I think I have a pretty average sized foot so not sure who would be able to wear these.

Just recently had to move up a size into a 12narrow. Shoe fit great! Unfortunately, I have an exceptionally narrow heel and it does slip up and down a bit but there’s Enough room to wear a pair of socks which will help.
