Linda –
I really liked the shoes. I have a 10.5 foot, extra wide. It is impossible to find that size. I was super excited to find these cute shoes, however the toe box was too pointed and squished my toes. So sad I had to send them back. Had such great hope when they fit otherwise.

They are very soft and very nice looking. I have a very wide foot especially the toe box. I ordered the 7 ww, my usual size and had to return due to heel slippage. I reordered in a size 6 1/2 ww and the fit was much better. I tried several brands in a round or pointed toe pump and this brand won out. I wouldn’t want to have to wear these all day or do a lot of walking but they are perfect for a dressier heel for a special event.

My 60-year old feet are having issues and these shoes were GREAT! The leather was very forgiving. I didn’t have much time to break the shoes in before wearing them 9 hours at my son’s wedding – it says a lot that my feet were comfortable and I was dancing!

Bunion sufferes, this is the dress heel for you. I have literally tried dozens of pumps and this is the only one that I can wear for several hours at a wedding or event. The kitt heel keeps the pump from looking matronly and the black suede has give and puts less pressure on the bunions. If you have large bunions like I do, order in double wide but make sure you order your exact size or half size smaller or the pump will not stay on. Happy dancing…

I have very wide feet. These shoes fit nicely. I bought 3 pairs in 6 !/2 DD. I am actually a 36 Euro, wide. For many brands I have to buy a 7 wide and in many my foot slips forward. I don’t have any bunions etc just wide feet for my 5’3″ frame. I bought the black, silver and nude. I will come back for brown. The toes are a bit pointed which doesn’t affect the comfort but definitely affects the look, making them more lovely than a rounded toe would be. I am going back to basics while clearing out a cluttered closet! The nude is that perfect color, not tan or pinkish. The silver has a fabric like look, absolutely beautiful!

I wear size 10 W in shoes and 9&1/2 W in open toe sandals. These shoes in 10W fit very well but squeezed the toes together a little bit so you may have to size up or get WW if you are a true 10 with no wiggle room. The insole is the softest I’ve seen in a heel. There is a little arch support but with plantar faciitis I won’t wear these longer than the wedding lasts. Love slightly round toe and the soft insole.I have included the dress I will wear with.

I b0ught these for my daughter to wear for her recital. she loved them but they are a half size too big. we are re-oordering them in a 1/2 size smaller. She ordered a 10 WW, but needs a 9.5 WW in this particular shoe. Simple, classic beige pump. Ideal shoe .

Decided on a 101/2 (wide)size since my usual 11 (medium) was out of stock. Turns out that was a good choice. The shoe is very comfortable. Heel height good. Wish it was a bit more stylish, but given the wonderful comfort of the shoe I’ll settle for a bit “plain Jane” in the look. The shoe looks well made. This one is definitely a keeper!

These shoes are so comfortable but too long. I usually take a size 6M and these were a bit too long so I am exchanging them for a 5.5M.

These shoes have become my go to shoes for so many occasions. They are comfortable and look fabulous. I bought them for an evening event in Manhattan and put them on out of the box, then walked through the subway stations and streets of Manhattan, danced at the event, and walked back to the subway with them – they were great! No sores, blisters….nothing! They were comfortable from the start and have stayed that way. Depending on the shoe I am often a 10. 10.5, or 11 – sometimes a wide. I got this shoe in 11M and it’s perfect. The nude color is perfect and goes with so many outfits. I can’t say enough about this shoe!

This is a very comfortable and attractive looking shoe. The color is slightly lighter than it appears in the photo, but that is fine for the long dress I am wearing it with,

I first ordered this in my usual size, 8.5, too big. Sent them back ordered an 8. Still too big, sending them back. Too bad because they are really cute but I don’t have time for all the ordering/returning.
Jamz –
I’m really digging this Trotters brand for shoes that can comfortably fit a foot+bunion. This pretty WW pump was incredibly comfortable in the toe box and accommodated my bunions perfectly, but was far too wide in the heel and kept slipping and flopping around while I walked. I’ll try going for just the W to see if the fit improves.

Attention, older ladies. Getting older, although wiser in years, presents quite a significant issue when trying to appear attractive at a wedding. I have no clue how this happened, as if it were yesterday that my son was two days old and then suddenly in a flash he is engaged and nearly 30 years old which makes me quite ancient. Even beginning with a suitable dress was quite a challenge: no low cut backs, no short sleeves, nothing tight fitting, no side slits, and definitely no low cut plunging necklines. I had to order and return over 50 dresses. Then of course, the shoes have to be appropriately matched with the dress. I had a lovely experience working with an exceptional Zappos sales person to help me find the right shoes. Then we begin with another list of unacceptable footwear. When I was in my 20’s, 30’a, 40’s and even into my 50’s I could get away with anything. So, after reading the many reviews which described this as a comfortable low heeled dress shoe I decided to purchase it. There are definite red flags; nothing open toed, no stiletto 3-4 inch heels, nothing too pointy in the toe box, etc. So, the salesperson was most helpful in helping me locate this particular pair of shoes. I do not want to end up on the dance floor teetering in tight stiletto heels, with my osteoporosis and have to have an ambulance arrive on the scene with a broken hip. These shoes are extremely stylish, comfortable, well constructed and made of actual leather. As far as I can tell, I can actually walk and stand in them for a long period of time, so that I will not have to sit at a table, in agony, with my shoes slid off underneath the tablecloth. Now, I will have to work with my hairdresser because instead of gorgeous, thick long auburn waves of locks which extended down to my waist, she has to work hard to restore what I have left. And then there is the issue of make-up, another major challenge. Getting old in terms of looking fashionable is quite time consuming. I used to be able to put on tight jeans, a short sleeved low cut tank top, high heels, brush out my hair, put on my make-up and go. No longer. This is like a major transformation from behind the scenes at the Metropolitan Opera. I look in the mirror and wonder, “Who is this person which I no longer recognize”? These shoes I can assure you ladies who wrote reviews about bunions are most definitely an excellent option.

OK, so I’ve finally come to accept that nothing from Trotters will ever fit me because they make their shoes too narrow. (I have a normal width forefoot and a narrow heel – like most people.) This shoe was too narrow, AND it was too long in the back (I could stick my finger behind my heel). I also ordered this shoe in a wide, knowing the regular size might be too narrow, and it was just too big overall. Sigh. Sadly, both sizes went back.
Amy –
The shoes were cute, but they were definitely NOT very wide for a wide shoes. The toe box was causing pinching and causing redness in the 2 minutes I wore them to try them on.

Need wide, no fit, ordered double wide, no fit. Very unusual.

Great simple shoe

Really comfortable. I have wide feet, so Im grateful for the wide option. These fit true to size and were easy to wear right out of the box.
Nancy –
Beautiful shoes, I ordered a narrow however I slipped out of the heel every step I took so these will have to go back.

I bought these shoes for my upcoming trip to Europe., so I have not yet worn them in action. I’ve worn them in the house to break in and at first, I wasn’t sure I wanted to do so because my foot was coming out of the back of the shoe when I walked. However, the leather is so deliciously soft and the heel height so perfect that I think my bunions will not kill me for the two hours or so that I’ll be wearing the shoes to dinner. I tried out some additional pads in the front and the back to fill up some space and between that and the fact that my feet will probably swell up with all the walking I’ll be doing, I’m taking a bet on these. I hope they don’t disappoint and I’ll submit another review if they do.

Excellent comfort & style for feet with bunions, not too wide thru the heel.
Nice looking shoe.

I have other pairs of Trotters dress shoes and this feels more like a 6 1/2 to me than a 6. Other than that, nice shoe, but I’ll keep the others I ordered instead.
JLMS –
I love these shoes. Right out of the box, they are comfortable and feel true to size. There is a padded footbed which is a plus. The style and color is perfect for my intended use, and I like having a lower heel without compromising sytle. They’re keepers!
