This is my third pair of these. They’d be five star except the leather on the first two started peeling (best word I can come up with) around toe and heel after about 6 months of regular wear. Still, the most comfortable booties I’ve ever had, nice looking, and go with everything.

Fit, size and appearance were fine. However, the zipper on the left shoe was IMPOSSIBLE to get open. I had to give up after multiple tries. It just wouldn’t budge. I did not want to take a pair of pliers to it for fear of damaging the metal zipper. Reluctantly had to return the boots.

these boots are nice quality, but for my wide food, was not wide enough ( bunion) , They were a little loose in the heel, but i wouldn’t mind if the width was ok . I did order a wide. It is leather, so it may stretch but i can never rely on that for comfort.

This size 11M boot fits my foot perfectly. I usually wear a 10.5 but if I’m wearing with a sock, I buy size 11. I do have a slightly narrow foot so this style might not be best for a wide foot. I love the style which is so comfortable with a flat-ish heel, but it’s still stylish enough to wear with a dressier outfit. I’ve bought many pairs of the black boots over several years. I just bought a brown pair but I had to return it. The brown color was too dark. I was hoping for a lighter brown and even maybe a saddle color. Trotters, please make this boot in more colors.

These ankle boots felt tight in the toe area and very loose around the ankle. However, I need to use orthotics (presrciption arch supports) in my shoes, so you can’t judge the fit for normal feet by my experience.

Dear Trotters,
I love many of your styles, however the heel slips up and down when I walk. I wear a 10W because of bunions. The toe area fits perfectly, but the heel in your shoes are too wide. I really wish that your shoes could be made to fit a wide toe area with a normal sized heel area. Thank you!

Fit as expected. Heel height perfect compromise to avoid flats and also uncomfortable high heels

Love these for many reasons. The boots are soft and supple. They are high enough on my ankles that they do not rub the ankle bone, which is often a problem with booties. The insole is removable and I was able to get my custom orthotics to fit beautifully. I also wear a narrow size and these are a perfect fit.

I now own these in four colors and just ordered two more colors. I so wish they’d expand the color choices so I can replace other brands with this bootie. I wear them daily from fall to spring. I wear a medium width but have narrow heels and the boots do not slip on my feet. They are comfortable and I can wear them all day with no discomfort.

I have worn Trotters boots in the “Major” style for 30 year and currently own four pair. I wear them every day through late fall, winter and spring. My feet are hard to feet but the 9N is perfect.

The leather is sooo soft that I wore the all day out of the box. I love the color; it isn’t actually red, more of a neutral, versatile brown with a red undertone.

I have these in EVERY color. My daughter order my first pairs a year or so ago….they were a little too wide for me, so I doubled up with thick socks. They were still COMFORTABLE. This time I ordered my correct width…these are the most comfortable booties that I own!!!!

I wish I could buy another pair of these booties in black! I did find them in the caramel color. I wear an 11 narrow and some 11s are too short for my long toes, but this bootie is fantastic.

I’m normally a size 8 but had to order a half size up. But once I did, they fit like a glove. I walked in a mall in them. The longer I wear them, the better they feel. And they are beautifully designed.

These might be the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I had to go up a half size (8 to 8-1/2), but they fit like a glove. Very cushiony, and they feel more like the longer I wear them.

These boots are very comfortable and look nice. There is a problem with them though: The leather is very soft and it wears away. It starts looking scoffed and raggedy fairly quickly.

I normally wear a 9.5 or 10, and when I put the size 10 on, it was WAY too narrow. Since my foot was so uncomfortable, I couldn’t really tell how it was for the length, but it felt a bit short. I’m returning these and ordering them again in a wide because they were really cute!

Fit, size (I normally go from 10 to 10.5 to 11 M in shoes depending on the make and wear 11 Medium in these), comfort and look are all topnotch. I’m 5’9″ and 160-165 lb. with somewhat athletic build. Wear these booties with dress slacks, jeans and skirts. Sharp-looking with everything.

I have foot problems and need an extra wide boot. The Major boot fits well. I remove the footbed and add my own inserts and still have plenty of room. I’m buying another pair, like them that much.
