   I have Trotter dress shoes in the same size and width (8.5 N) as these boots. But I planned to wear the booties with lightweight socks so I should have ordered medium width. But while trying these on with stockings, I noticed that the built-in contours of the shoe were not matching up with my my foot. Also, just so you know, the zipper on the outside of the foot is for looks only- it is not functional. Having only one zipper is not a problem. I am just pointing it out in case someone was specifically buying these thinking they were getting two zippers. My apologies to Zappos and Trotters if this is mentioned in the item description and I just missed it.

   Cute shoe. However, poor heel construction. Multiple seams cut right into your skin.

   I love these shoes. I have to return them. I ordered a medium width and it fits perfectly. I think the sizing was good, however the problem was my foot

   I’m sorry I will have to return these. The style was good but the narrow size was too wide for my foot.

   Fit like a glove. Will be ordering another pair in a different color. Such a good fit. They run a half size big. Most boots run a little big.

   Item was not really wide. Ideally a WW width would be available and heals would be leather or wood stack rather than man-made material.
