Loved the shoe but wanted to wear it with tights for an “opaque” look. The shoe felt fine if I wore nylons but was too snug for even the thinnest tights I could find so I am returning it. I ordered my normal size 8N and it felt true to size. Normally I have trouble getting a narrow enough heel but the 8N (rather than 8M) works fine in that respect. Nicely padded on the interior so it felt good with hosiery (but not with tights).

This little shoe was just a bit roomy, but it is very comfortable right out of the box, nice thick sole, and no toe pinching like some of the skimmer/ballet shoes I’ve tried. What totally surprised me was how beautiful they are! The surface is all suede leather, the band as well, and the lace pattern is cut into the suede leather. They are true to color, and match the silk pants I ordered them for. I am undecided whether or not to keep them, due to the suede- I’ve never had good luck with suede leather, getting dirty, difficult to clean, and rubbing smooth spots on the surface. I’ll do a leather protectant spray if I keep them. Love Zappos that I can try on shoes, send them back so easily! I always buy good quality shoes, because they are good for the feet and last several years if you take care of them, so I’m happy I found Zappos a few years ago.

I have a narrow foot and these fit well. The shoes are pretty and the style is flattering. I bought the off-white embossed version and the color goes with a lot of my outfits, which is a plus. Overall, I’m very pleased with them.

These shoes are beautiful and comfortable. I have a very wide foot; generally I wear a 6 WW and these fit perfect in length and width. I am very happy with them.

These shoes are beautiful and comfortable, a winning combination. My foot is on the wider size but not wide enough to wear a wide width in most styles. These are a little snug in the width but not so much that I would return for a wide. Since the leather is soft, I expect some give when worn a while. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Great shoe; great materials. Very comfortable, very stylist flat. The ivory is a terrific summer color–not white, not a yellowy off-white. These are great with jeans, bathing suit, or with a dress for church.

Love these shoes. Comfortable right out of the box, and although my feet run a bit wide, they were perfect in the medium width. This is my first pair of Trotters (maybe back in the day I knew them as “Oldmaine Trotters!), and I’m so glad I found them. Recommend

I have a skinny, thin foot. I wear a 9.5 SS, which is what these are, but the heel was wide for me. After filling the shoe with inner sole pads and heel cushions to fill up a bit, they are a perfect fit! Very comfortable. I like the wider, rounded toe, which is usually ugly, but these are pretty. I like the damask look (cream colored). The vamp is high enough to help the shoe stay on my foot. I haven’t worn it out yet, but look forward to enjoying this shoe.

I was not seeking flats but this is a size that fits in a color I need so those two facts make these perfect. They are stylish and look great with slacks or jeans. They are just a bit tight across the top of my foot but will probably stretch a bit with wear.

I love these shoes. Classy. I plan to wear them to a black tie wedding. After 1 1/2 years of sneakers, I can’t bear the thought of heels. These shoes with the buckle in alligator look dressy enough for my cute black cocktail dress. I have a hard narrow foot to fit, and these felt comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I also have them in black suede and off-white. They look “cool” and feel great, and I wear them to work with pants as well.

I have a narrow foot. This was a perfect fit. I am between sizes so I went up from 9 to 9 1/2. Beautiful shoe. Unfortunately part of the binding/trim had come off so I have to return

It’s so hard to find shoes that are narrow enough for me that aren’t frumpy. Since these came in Slim and are pretty good looking, I am happy with the purchase. I haven’t worn them much yet, but hopefully they will prove to be comfortable as well.

Unfortunately, the shoes were too big. I ordered a 10 and a half Narrow because they didn’t have a 10N and, lately, 10N is too tight. Trotters, however, is true to size and the extra half was too long! I’ll try again. Maybe someone will return their 10N for a
10 1/2N!

I have this shoe in black in a size 6, but my feet grew! It’s attractive and comfortable so I ordered it a half size longer and am very pleased. It’s comfortable right out of the box. So glad that I now have a pair that fits my “new” foot.
